Hi, I’m Ingvi Jonasson, independent user interface developer based in Bern, Switzerland. I help companies and organisations build modern, resilient and inclusive user interfaces with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility.
Ingvi delivers on time and is a very reliable person. He often foresees potential technical and as well UX problems and always comes up with simpler alternatives. He has a professional and flexible manner with our clients and is simply a dream to work with.
He cares a lot about HTML/CSS, semantics and scalable design patterns. His ability to recognise the right CSS approach for a design problem keeps impressing me. I hope I will have the opportunity to work with him again.
Ingvi joined our team during the Covid-19 lockdown and despite the circumstances, quickly acquainted himself with the project and took on his role in the team. His calm manner and meticulous eye for detail as well as his expert subject knowledge played an elemental role in delivering the product on time.
Ingvi is a very talented frontend developer and a pleasure to work with. He is professional, focused, delivers what he promises on time and has a good eye for UX and web design.
During both our time at Ginetta, it was a pleasure to work with Ingvi. He is extremely knowledgable on good, semantic and accessible HTML/CSS and he clearly has a passion for doing things correctly. He was one of the main accessibility advocates at the company, and he is a very good teacher. Everyone should have an Ingvi on their team.
I’m a developer with over 10 years of experience. I have worked both as a freelancer and in couple of agencies and have a reputation for having a keen eye for details and for delivering products on time. In early 2020 I created a company, ljomi GmbH and I work since then as a self-employed.
I’m serious about markup. The structure that lies underneath every websites. Well crafted markup can do a lot of good for any website and is essential for responsive web design, findability in search engines and for accessibility. I pay great attention to the details and I make sure that everything is in its right place. Get a copy of my resume for more details.
In my spare time I enjoy tinkering with open source projects and to teach teenagers how to develop and design for the web. When offline I do yoga, run, make music or most likely spend time and playing games with my family. I love my records and having music in a physical form is very important to me. Playing music as a dj used to be a big part of my life but has lately taken a back seat as a past time hobby.
